Completed Research Projects
The Institute’s research findings and policy recommendations have repeatedly served as the basis for the financial and economic justification of more than 20 legislative initiatives, including the establishment of the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine, the introduction of financial, customs, and tax incentives for industrial parks, local content requirements in public procurement, investment insurance against war-related risks, and other policy measures.
The Institute’s experts regularly participate in working meetings organized by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the relevant Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. They are actively involved in analytical research, the preparation of draft laws and other regulatory legal acts, as well as the development of state programmes and strategic policy documents.
On 11 December 2025, representatives of the Institute, headed by Acting Director Ihor Huzhva, participated in the 17th All-Ukrainian Conference “Dairy Business 2025”, where they presented the findings of a comprehensive study on global trends, risks, and opportunities for the development of the dairy industry, as well as Ukraine’s potential role in these processes. The presentation highlighted the prospects for strengthening the international competitiveness of Ukrainian dairy producers and outlined possible scenarios for the industry’s future development. The presentation is available here: Ukraine’s Dairy Industry: Global Trends, Risks and Opportunities.
In 2024, experts of the Institute, in cooperation with the NGO Center for Market Economy Development “CMD–Ukraine”, prepared an analytical study commissioned by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark under the Labour Market Project, implemented jointly by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI). The study, “Strategic Priorities for Deepening Ukraine’s Trade and Economic Relations with the European Union in the Context of Ukraine’s EU Candidate Status”, provides recommendations for strengthening economic integration with the European Union.
